Affects of wind farms on Land Owners
Yet another example of undesirable affects of Large Wind Energy Conversion Systems (LWECS) and Wind Turbines that are imposed on non-participation adjacent land owners. Renewable wind energy obviously has many advantages over non-renewable energy production, but imposing undisclosed or misunderstood costs on adjoining landowners without compensation is fundamentally wrong and unfair. Federal and state governments must develop policies for these projects moving forward to account for these costs and compensate these landowners.
